Publishing Update

It's been a while since I've updated my blog. There are a few reasons for that, mainly that I haven't had much to update about. I've been plugging along through the final semester of my MFA, preparing for the trip to Buenos Aires in July for my graduation residency, and finishing my thesis.

However, yesterday I received an email from my editor that she's starting to work on my book. I'm so excited to start the editing process and the timing couldn't be more perfect. I should finish editing my thesis in the next week or so. Then I'll be able to fully focus on making A Home for Christmas the best it can be!

My editor also said she hoped to get me a draft cover for the book in the near future. We're looking at the end of the September for the book release and I couldn't be more excited! This is such a dream come true for me.
