When I was young, I promised my mother that I would write her one "kissing" book (what I called a romance novel). While she was a fan of bodice rippers by Danielle Steele, I write sweet romance in the style of Hallmark movies. My debut novel, A Home for Christmas, will be published by Champagne Book Group.
I also write Women's Fiction that focuses on the emotional journey of the main character. I equate these with Hallmark Movies and Mysteries movies where the romance is there, but it's not as much of the focus. |
I am working on a fantasy about a halfling princess princess. Her mother is fae and her father is human, a stolen child. When her kingdom is torn apart by civil war, she must choose to stay and fight an unwinnable battle or escape to the human realm.
